No hand-offs
The consultant who examines you is there for the scan, and performs the procedure if one is indicated — with the imaging read alongside, in the same visit. Nothing is handed to a separate team, and nothing has to be explained twice.
Dr. Dasyam Pallavi assesses you and performs the ultrasound-guided procedure; Dr. PSS Kiran brings musculoskeletal imaging to the same assessment — so the examination, the scan and your reports are considered together before anything is done.
Consultant – Pain Management
MBBS, DA, FIAPM, CIPS — Fellow of the Indian Academy of Pain Medicine; Certified Interventional Pain Sonologist, World Institute of Pain (WIP), USA.
CIPS is an international certification focused specifically on ultrasound-guided interventional pain procedures. It is awarded only after the World Institute of Pain’s structured examination — written, oral and practical, cadaver-based assessment of anatomy, sonoanatomy and the use of ultrasound during a procedure — and is held by a comparatively limited group of physicians.
Her clinical work includes ultrasound-guided pain interventions, musculoskeletal ultrasound, peripheral nerve interventions, radiofrequency procedures, joint and periarticular interventions, and the management of chronic musculoskeletal pain.
Consultant Radiologist – Musculoskeletal Imaging & Image Guidance
MBBS, MD (Radiodiagnosis), Fellowship in Pain Management — with additional training in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
An abnormality on an MRI or X-ray is not always the source of the pain. Dr. Kiran’s role at Halcyon is the radiological evaluation of musculoskeletal and pain conditions: reading X-rays, MRI and ultrasound in the context of your symptoms and the clinical examination, so that what the image shows is weighed against what you feel.
He provides focused musculoskeletal ultrasound evaluation, imaging correlation and radiological assistance for image-guided pain procedures, in collaboration with Dr. Dasyam Pallavi — so clinical and imaging information are considered together as part of an individualised approach to your care.

Nothing is injected on a hunch. If the ultrasound rules out the structure the examination suspected, you leave with a different plan — not with a procedure you did not need.
03
Procedures are done under local anaesthetic as day care. No admission and no general anaesthetic, so most people are home within about two hours of arriving.
Appointments are spaced through the day, so the wait is short. Bring any recent X-ray, MRI or scan reports you already have.
